But you haven't been able to dial in your training or race nutrition. And this worries you.
Every athlete seems to be recommending different ways to eat and how they fuel their training.
Should you eat high carb, low carb, paleo? Should you eat whole food, and stay away from sugar, or is it ok to eat sports nutrition products like gels?
Let's make this easy!
What will you take away from the 2 Day Workshop?
What you'll learn:
1. Why nutrition is a crucial and often overlooked aspect to long distance triathlon and running races.
2. What your individual training calories and macronutrients should be
3. How to calculate your own hydration needs
4. How to look past the myths that marketing companies want you to believe
5. Special tips on things like: women's nutrition, setting up race simulations, carb loading, caffeine tapers and more.
What you'll learn:
1. The role of different macronutrients and electrolytes on race day
2. How to create your own plan-the exact steps I take my 1:1 athletes through
3. Learn what to do when something goes wrong on race day, and how to fix it.
4. The biggest mistakes athletes make, and how to not make them.
5. A wrap up of putting it all together, and ensuring you're confident in your plan.
In case we haven't met, I'm an exercise physiologist, running/triathlon coach and a sports nutritionist that is passionate about helping athletes achieve their goals through science based training and nutrition.
I want you to feel your healthiest, train and race injury free, and perform at your best.
Personally:
I'm a wife (hubby Brett is a triathlete too), mom (2 boys and 2 furbabies), life long endurance athlete (Ironman triathlete, trail runner, open water swimmer) and someone who is passionate about helping athletes reach their own peak performance.
Education:
I hold both an undergraduate and master's degree in exercise physiology and sports nutrition. I also carry a post graduate diploma from the International Olympic Committee in sports nutrition, and I'm a certified triathlon and running coach. To provide women the best guidance possible, I am also a graduate of Stacy Sim's Women Are Not Small Men Course and her Menopause course.
Athletes that are racing over the Olympic Distance (so Olympic, Half Iron and Full Iron+) and athletes racing marathons or ultras are the best fit for this workshop.
You do not have to be live to watch the workshop. Every athlete will have access to our workshop presentations and replays after the workshop is complete.
Each workshop going to be around 1 hour for the presentation, with additional time for questions.
The total of both workshops is $47.
By purchasing this workshop, you'll have live access to Coach Cristina to answer questions, and access to the recorded replays for continued help. If you're the type of athlete that likes to see things written down, with worksheets, guides and access to print things out, you'll have the ability to purchase an upgraded option at the workshop check out.
There are 2 options available. #1. Set up a time to chat (for free) with Coach Cristina. She offers 30-60min consultations, and a full race fueling program as well. Option #2. If you're the kind of athlete that like to have access to someone to ask questions, but you're comfortable working on your own, then our team is a great resource. You'll have access to Coach Cristina, in addition to endurance & strength training plans, plus all nutrition guidance.
Up to 30% of athletes will suffer GI distress during their race day. Don't be one of the 30%. Let's get your energy levels up, and risk of GI illness down. When you create a customized fuel plan, you'll have every opportunity to succeed!
